Defending yourself isn't political
Blue Pew Pew exists for the people who take personal safety seriously but don’t feel at home in traditional gun culture. If you’re a first-time buyer, politically progressive, or just someone who wants honest information without the gear obsession and the political chest-thumping, you’re exactly who this was built for.

Ready to take the next step?
You’ve made the decision but don’t know where to start. We’ll walk you through what to look for, what questions to ask, what to expect when you walk into a gun store, and how to make sure you leave with the right firearm for you.
Just bought your first firearm?
Congratulations on taking this step. Now what? From safe storage to training to the accessories that actually matter, we’ll help you figure out what comes next so you feel confident and prepared, not overwhelmed.
Don't forget to protect yourself legally.

No Tactical Teds!

Why Blue Pew Pew Exists
I’m John. While my politics align much more closely with the progressive side of our country, I also own a firearm.
I know how strange that might sound to some of you, because I felt the same way not that long ago. Walking into a gun store for the first time is intimidating. The culture feels foreign. You don’t know the language, you don’t know who to trust, and you’re not sure you even belong there.
I built Blue Pew Pew because I couldn’t find a resource that spoke to people like me. People who take the current political moment seriously. People who believe personal safety is important but never expected to find themselves on a firearms website. People who want straight answers without the culture war baggage.
You don’t have to love guns to take your safety seriously. You just have to be willing to learn. That’s what Blue Pew Pew is here for.
